No cable...Comcast bills their service as "xfinity." I think I shall wait an ETERNITY before I get hooked up. I twitch as I think of all the good shows I'm missing tonight...Game of Thrones, Mad Men, The Borgias...
Just be thankful for On Demand. It will take awhile but you'll get caught up. My sister and her husband have Comcast in Virginia and they don't think much of it. I've noticed that when I use their wireless service for my netbook that sometimes the signal is either very weak or drops. :(
We had Comcast and it was hit and miss - I can't remember if there's another service provider or not. One issue we had: they tried to set up cable in the condo we first were living in and it wouldn't work. When the guy took off the plate covers from the wall there were no wires. So wires were installed THEN we got our cable. It was a pain.
Dare I ask, do you finally have cable?
