Like Claire, I also recently bought a cheap Android with a Kindle app. Facing a long plane ride in the near future, I decided to download a few books onto the android, one new one and three free ones. They look like they actually downloaded and opened up, so I'm saving them for my trip. I, too, prefer real books, but I'm looking forward to the new version and will report back when I've used it. It will be a lot smaller and lighter than carrying around several books as I travel. Stay tuned.
I like my nook for airplane trips. Perfect for reading a novel or the NY Times.
ReplyDeleteI bought a cheap android for recording purposes because it makes no noise. Otherwise, I prefer my actual books, too.
