Happy Birthday Emmy Eiderdown

Happy birthday to the most finely pickled gal of the class of '74... Emmy Eiderdown.  Beautiful, funny, smart, loyal, and one of the greatest accomplishments of my life, i.e. she's still my friend after nearly 4 decades.

To honor or diss(honor) the occasion below please find the fellas of the class of 1974 from Emmy's yearbook...
Then, and...
Now.

To channel a little bit of how it felt like to be 18 years old in the great American rust belt of 1974...
"I gotta get outta this place..."
Happy Birthday Em!!

  1. Happy Birthday to Emmy from a fellow '74 grad!

And, yes, didn't you think Alice Cooper wrote that specifically for us?

  2. Yes, indeed. And I thought Pete Townsend took a peek into my soul with Baba O'Reily.

  3. And Keith Moon and Jon Bonham recorded the beats of our hearts for all perpetuity. No friggin drum machine can compare with those freight trains of rhythm.

  4. Yep. George has the video of Keith's last concert before he OD'ed. He was in fine form but it was weird because he joked about OD'ing during the concert. :(

The Who and LZ -- two of my favorite groups of all time. :D
