June Cleaver was too perfect--she set standards no ordinary mortal could follow. But Barbara Billingsley sounded like an interesting person. I think she really gave June that extra bit of class and warmth.

My mother did actually have some 'house dresses' that looked like what June wore. Full skirted with skinny matching belt.I loved her bit in 'Airplane' as the jive-talking passenger. Classic.RIP Barbara Billingsly
